Here to share the bts for my first ever Banpresto figure (Nohara Hiroshi, Nohara Shinnosuke's father) and it is indeed a fantastic figure that allow you to put and shoot at many places like Hiroshi is travelling around the world with a super cool pose.
In this setup, I was using 4 units of portable table lights/torch light. One at far front right from the figure, one at the rear right with covered up by colored cellophane and the last 2 at the rear left with normal cool white torch light to mimic the environment lighting.

As you can see in the photo, the table top lamp which shoot the brightest light was put at the furthest from the figure to avoid the harsh light direct shoot on the figure (it is fine too if you put some tracing paper or simply an A4 paper before the light fitting to diffuse the light so you won't need to put it at this far).

PS: I searched some Izakaya street view at Japan from internet and set as background.

And here is the final result which I adjusted some saturation to more closer to the background lighting atmosphere in Adobe Photoshop.
DSLR setup was F/8, 1/4sec, ISO 400, No flash.
